James Slocum - owner and operator of A1 Locksmith for the last 20 years was born and raised in Stamford.
He started learning the art of locksmithing in Hollywood, CA in the early 80's, then moved to Paris, France where he did French Theatre for awhile and also studied European locks. When not working in the theatre he worked with a Parisian Locksmith.
